New Installer File for Space Wizard Saves Atlantis

Hey there all you hip cats and kittens (or any other animals of your preference),

The windows installer file is now complete. New features of the installer include:

• DirectX 9 and XNA Framework install (Necessary to run Space Wizard Saves Atlantis)
• Game installing into your Program Files directory. No need to manually find a place to install the game yourself.
• Start menu shortcuts. Tons of fun can now only be a couple of clicks away.
• A shortcut for playing in keyboard mode. No more needing to know DOS and command line arguments to play the game with your handy space bar.
• Uninstaller. Feel that your high score is insurmountable and would like to banish Poseidon (as well as the selfless, majestic Space Wizard) temporarily (or permanently) from your computer? You can now uninstall from Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs or whatever your Windows equivalent may be.

Installer details:

• File Format: MSI. Unfamiliar? Click here to find out more.
• File Size: ~18 MBs.
• Disk Space needed for Space Wizard Saves Atlantis game: ~300 MBs. More disk space may be needed for DirectX 9 and XNA Framework.

One Button Game Competition

Stronger Than Pickles presents, "Space Wizard Saves Atlantis", a puzzle game with only 1-button for input.

Our collective was formed and executed our first joint venture into game creation this Winter!

Submitted to Gamma 4's 'One Button Games Competition' for judging. Finalists game's are shown at the Game Developer's Conference on March 10th, 2010.

(note: You will need an XBox 360 controller to play this game. To play without, enter the path to the .exe in your command prompt with '-k' at the end.)

Description:
Poseidon has put Atlantis underwater! It's up to Space Wizard to make a star big enough to boil away the ocean! In this puzzle game, you drop rows of colored blocks into 3 or more sized matches to level up your star. But be warned, denser stars have more Gravity…can Space Wizard hold out?!

Controls:
Press A as a row falls to shift the colors to the right. The rightmost color wraps to the left. Match 3 or more to score. The 5th block always falls into the cauldron and adds a color charge. When you next match that color, you spend the charges to get bonus multipliers. Survive the timer to win!
